Almost 10 years ago, we packed up our Vancouver condo to open Red Fish Blue Fish and make Victoria our home. Little did we know our small seafood shack on the water would wind up in a Lonely Planet guide, appear on the Today Show, and land a segment on Food Network Canada's Eat Street, and become one of Victoria’s most cherished eateries.

Taking an earth-friendly approach to the classic fish 'n chip shop, we feature sustainable, grab-and-go seafood. We’re an Ocean Wise partner, serve only locally caught seafood, compost all takeout containers, utensils and food waste, and recycle all bottles and cans. And all this is done out of a unique upcycled shipping-container.

With outdoor seating spread out on a wooden pier, our diners have a front row seat to Victoria’s busy inner harbour. Seaplanes, boats, and the occasional seal, come and go, and as the sun sets over the water, it’s tough to find a better view.

From February to November, you’ll find us serving up seafood grilled to perfection or tempura battered and fried crisp to locals and travellers from all around the world.

we hope to see you soon!
