Located on the Inner Harbour in beautiful Victoria, BC Canada, Red Fish Blue Fish offers Victoria’s favourite Fish & Chips, Tacones, West Coast & Wild Grilled or Tempura Fish Sandwiches, Grilled Seafood, Seafood Chowder and other sustainable seafood choices.

Sixteen years ago, we packed up our Vancouver life to open Red Fish Blue Fish and make Victoria our home. Little did we know our small seafood shack on the water would wind up in a Lonely Planet guide, land a segment On Food Network Canada's Eat Street, and become a destination…

Red Fish Blue Fish is committed to serving only Ocean Wise seafood. Ocean Wise is a Vancouver Aquarium conservation program created to help restaurants and their customers make sustainable seafood choices.

Sustainable seafood can be defined as species that are caught or farmed in a way that ensures the long-term health and stability of that species, as well as the greater marine ecosystem.

Ocean Wise’s recommendations are based on 4 criteria.
An Ocean Wise recommended species is:

  1. Abundant and resilient to fishing pressures.

  2. Well managed with a comprehensive management plan based on current research.

  3. Harvested in a method that ensures limited bycatch on non-target and endangered species.

  4. Harvested in ways that limit damage to marine or aquatic habitats and negative interactions with other species.

Open daily, 11am-7pm, including holidays.

We are an outdoor, counter-service canteen-style eatery, and do not offer reservations. There is casual bar/stool seating along the public pier.
